Since our founding, we have always listened to our customers and made it our mission to provide high-quality translation services, helping to facilitate communication that transcends language barriers.
The landscape of global communication has evolved significantly, characterized by a natural convergence of cultures and languages that extends beyond the conventional paradigms of internationalization and globalization.
The importance of accurate and appropriate translations cannot be overstated, especially in our increasingly interconnected world.
While AI and other translation technologies are becoming increasingly sophisticated, they cannot fully replace the nuanced understanding and critical thinking that human translators bring to the table.
We will continue to strengthen collaborations with our talented team of translators, editors, and other staff to provide cutting-edge translation solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs.
President Ryoko Kumito
US Office
Born and raised in San Diego, California, I first visited Japan in the summer of 1985 after graduating from high school, and I fell in love with the country and its culture. My experience in Japan led me to study communication with a minor in Japanese literature at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Arizona.
I visited Japan a few more times before returning in 1993 to settle in Osaka. This is when I joined Interact Japan, Inc., where I spent the next six years working closely in the office with my Japanese colleagues. I could not have asked for a better work environment as a foreigner in Japan. In my position I was responsible for teaching English language classes and editing translated materials.
After a year-long sabbatical to travel and explore more of our world, I returned to the United States and re-joined the Interact team as an editor. I now live in Tempe, Arizona, with my wife and two children, and represent Interact’s US office.
Over the decades that I’ve been with Interact, our abilities have continued to grow and I now work with a team of specialized translators from across the globe that meet our strict quality standards of accuracy, fluency, professionalism, and timeliness. Interact and our clients now operate in a truly global climate and I am proud to be a part of supporting their aspirations.
